Our 5 Favourite Fashionistas From The Royal Wedding

Our 5 Favourite Fashionistas From The Royal Wedding

The Duke and Dutchess of Sussex invited 600 guests into their royal wedding service in St Georges chapel, Windsor Castle on 19th May 2018. Whilst the beautiful couple were styled impeccably, a number of the guests also caught our eye by showcasing their stylish outfit choices. Here’s 5 of our favourite fashion ensembles…

 1. Janina Gavankar

Janina Gavankar, actress from 'True Blood', being interviewed at the royal wedding.

Janina Gavankar, best friend of Meghan Markle, stole the show in a bold orange vintage dress and fringed cape from western costume company. She paired this elegantly with a black hat, Saint Laurent clutch and Sigerson Morrison shoes.

2. Serena Williams

Serena Williams in her blush pink dress, making it on our list of favourite wedding guest dresses.

Serena Williams looked incredible with a long-sleeved blush midi dress. Paired with statement jewellery, natural makeup and a Rapunzel-length ponytail.

3. Doria Ragland

Doria Ragland, the mother of Meghan Markle, with the Prince of Wales and the Dutchess of Cornwall.

Doria Ragland absolutely aced the mother of the bride outfit. She chose a gorgeous embroidered mint green dress and coat ensemble by Oscar de la Renta, paired with a coordinated Stephen Jones hat and Aquazzura shoes.

4. Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey also wore a blush coloured long-sleeved dress, and my gosh did she look amazing. The dress was a Stella McCartney design and Oprah thanked the team on her Instagram account for making this dress OVERNIGHT following concerns her initial dress would appear too white on camera.

5. Troian Bellisario

Troian Bellisario and Patrick J. Adams stood outside St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Troian Bellisario, the actress from ‘pretty little liars’ and wife of Meghan Markle’s co-star Patrick J. Adams also looked beautiful. Her cream dress had bishop sleeves, adorned with sparkles, a matching bag and a birdcage veil. We also thought Mr. Adams scrubbed up very well in his black suit with a white shirt and burgundy tie.

With the temperature peaking at 22˚C and the majority of guests wearing conservative clothing with high neck, long sleeved dresses and morning suits we couldn’t help but admire their restraint from delayering! If you’re attending a wedding this summer and want to mimic a similar style, don’t forget to wear dandi patches to prevent any sweat stains from appearing on your outfit. We would hate for sweat to ruin those selfies! For more information or to order, check out the website www.dandipatch.com.
